Getting Around Town

Most visitors to St. Louis prefer driving a car for adequate mobility during their apartment search. However, there are several transportation options available.

Car Share

Every member of the WUSTL community over the age of 18 is eligible to apply for Car Share membership.  Membership is free for WUSTL community members. Visit the Car Share website to apply for membership.

Take a Shuttle

The Campus Circulator shuttle is a great and convenient way to get around locally and on campus. There are numerous shuttles that run day and night during the academic year and on a reduced summer schedule.

For shuttle schedule or route maps call our Transportation Office at (314) 935-4140 or Download the free WASHU Mobile app from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. Text "WUSHUTTLES" to 888777 to get Emergency Alerts.

Ride the Metro

Metro operates the MetroBus and MetroLink (light rail system). Both transits can take you just about anywhere in St. Louis which has many routes to both campuses.

Accessible Transportation

Provides specialized service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors who have a disability or a medical condition and need assistance getting around the Danforth Campus. Pre-authorization required.
